My very first solo sewing project

I made a little curtain for the under-the-counter-hole in my bathroom. It's supposed to be for a chair so that you can sit down and do your make-up and hair. Unfortunately, I'm just not that kind of girl. So in my bathroom it was just a hole. But not anymore! Now it's a cute little place to hide the trash and ugly storage stuff. I know it's kind of plain now, but I was thinking of getting some kind of fringe or something to pretty it up. I didn't want to spend a lot of $ on fabric for my first potential sewing disaster. So I found this fabric in the remnants bin. I think it works okay for now.
Don't look too close! It is my first project after all!
The bathroom is pretty boring. I haven't gotten around to doing much decorating in it yet. I did find this clock that I love and I am trying to go from there. It needs to flow with the bedroom though, so... if anyone wants to come over and help me figure out what to do with both rooms, come on over!

p.s. I would like to thank Amelia for coming over today to help me set up my machine. Without her none of this would be possible. :)

It looks really, really good!!!
All my crafty girls makes me so well pleased.
All of you should save a square of fabric from each of your projects to make a 'project' quilt or something like that.

Teamwork is always better. Can I steal this idea for my big hole under my sink?
