We just booked our hotel room! We are going on a little family trip to San Antonio for Spring Break. I always get so happy when we finally start booking because it means we are for sure doing it! We can talk about it forever but until we put some money down on something there is always a chance that plans can change. Not anymore! We are going the 18th - 20th. Our hotel is right across the street from the Alamo and just a couple blocks from the Riverwalk. We'll be checking out those places and we will probably go to a wild animal park (one that you drive your car through) and some caverns too. We never have a set schedule on vacation so we'll just see how it goes, if there is something we see or hear about that we would rather do, then we will just go with the flow. :] I'm just happy to have a little time away with the family and we deserve a vacation every now and then! Everybody does!

Sounds like fun. I can't wait to see pictures from the wild animal park.
Lynda, we love love love the Natural Bridge Caverns in New Braunsfeld. You have to go. Check out their site, they might have coupons. I love San Antonio. Have a great time.
FUN! FUN! FUN!! I'm soo happy for you Carmacks!! Take lots of pictures!!
Yeah! I love vacations too. We seem to always just do the ones were we go see family, but I really do like just getting away with our own little one to do things. Have fun on spring break!!
Is San Antonio somewhere between texas and California? If so maybe I can meet you half way!
Our spring break is the first week of April, when's yours?
heart, nan
Zoe you should have thrown it!!!
Didn't something crazy happen on your last texas vacation? Something about fish on the lawns...
Okay, I'm sure you'll have fun in San Antonio. I just have one piece of advice: DO NOT, under any circumstances, leave your car parked in the Denny's that is across from the Riverwalk. In less time than you can say "...but I AM a customer, I just ate at your restaurant." They will have your car towed to the impound as far away as possible (you pay by the mile to get your car back, you know). I loved the sites, but hated the "hospitality" in San Antonio. If you see my $200 I left there to get my rental car back, please bring it home with you!! :-'
